Have you ever heard of Somaliland? It is a self-proclaimed republic in the northwest of Somalia. One of our technicians was able to discover this region during an intervention in this new water drilling station 💧
This station, via 13 boreholes and 2 pumps, allows water to be transported 20 km further to the capital of Somaliland, Hargeisa.
GeniWatt provided on these ⚡ 4 generators of 1000 kVA ⚡ :
- mechanical maintenance
- the coupling of these 4 sets to have a single 4 MW network which then supplies two 500 kW pumps
- commissioning.
A mission completed in a fortnight with 40 km of track each day!
